Traditional Teaching in Bamyan

In winter a people who can read books and holy Quran conduct a traditional teaching for children and teach children for full time from sun rising up sun down and start from Arabic to Persian.

Children when go for teaching prepare some traditional food or a pocket of sweet and every students study separately and teacher has to teach every students separately.

In breakfast and lunch students come to their homes and go back for teaching and every students have special thing that make by wood to put his/her book on.

For showing the letter or word students and teachers have straw and special thing that made by paper.

When children reach to Alam Nashrah a verse of holy Quran the hands of students tie and go the relatives home of his/her student for opening of tie the relative should pay money for teacher, and the students accompany the student who reach to Alam Nashrah and teacher does not go with them.

Finishing a book and bringing the new book is also with special food or a pocket of sweet in teaching place.

The students control by beating with a stick and teacher can beat every students when students do naughty or cannot learn the lesson.

Studying start from Saturday up Thursday and Thursday is the exam day on Thursday teachers ask from students about what students learnt when students cannot answer punish by stick or slap… Thursday is up to noon and afternoon of Thursday and Friday are holiday.

When children can read the Persian books fluently there is no need to study in traditional winter study and then they continues the study in course…
