Wedding in Bamyan


When the crops collecting, the weather getting cold and there is no work for people to do, they conducting wedding ceremony.
Wedding in Bamyan celebrate very traditionally and expensive according to economic situation of people, people have to follow it.
When a man want to get marriage, his family have to suggest from girls family for wedding, it continues for several times until the girls families accept, sometimes this decision make opposite of girls desire.
Halqa (wearing earing) is a special celebration and it is a small celebration just close families of groom and bride participate in this celebration, it is hold in girl home and all expenditure is from boy.
Khishi is another celebration that is also hold in girl home and it is bigger than Halqa and more than people participate to it, boy have pay all spend of this ceremony.
Wedding ceremony happened after several months of accepting, this ceremony is the final ceremony and larger ceremony from all. It is hold in boys and girl homes separately. The first night the families and friends present gifts for bride and groom.
Boy go to girl home with accompany of all families and friends for bringing of girls it happens in a day.
Boy has to pay all the expenditure of wedding ceremony and he has to pay dowry for girls parents…

Celebration


One sunny morning of Friday a lot of people came together in front of gymnasium in Bamyan city. All men and women were happy and carry flowers and other gifts to present Bamyan university students that graduated.
Some minutes after police opened the gate of gymnasium and people crashed towards it. And police could not control people all of them got in the yard.
For getting inside of gymnasium also people crashed and it was impossible to be all the people inside of gymnasium that create a big problem for all.

Education situation in Bamyan



Shibar is nearest district of Bamyan, in center of Shibar there is no high school, only one secondary school exist for girls and boys, lack of separate school for girls and lack of women teachers causes that girls are prevented from going to school.
Zarin Yakawlang also has not a building for boys high school, the people says they collected about 120000 AFN to prepare a place for school but department of education deceived people and waste money that collected from every students.
Because far way of school the children that are between 7-12 cannot go to school because they are not able to walk 2-5 hours a day.
Sialaiak High school exist in very cold weather that students cannot bear for studying, is also a problem for students how to stay there.
Shortage of professional teachers and books are the other problem. Poor services of education is also the main problem.
