Wedding in Bamyan

When the crops collecting, the weather getting cold and there is no work for people to do, they conducting wedding ceremony.

Wedding in Bamyan celebrate very traditionally and expensive according to economic situation of people, people have to follow it.

When a man want to get marriage, his family have to suggest from girls family for wedding, it continues for several times until the girls families accept, sometimes this decision make opposite of girls desire.

Halqa (wearing earing) is a special celebration and it is a small celebration just close families of groom and bride participate in this celebration, it is hold in girl home and all expenditure is from boy.

Khishi is another celebration that is also hold in girl home and it is bigger than Halqa and more than people participate to it, boy have pay all spend of this ceremony.

Wedding ceremony happened after several months of accepting, this ceremony is the final ceremony and larger ceremony from all. It is hold in boys and girl homes separately. The first night the families and friends present gifts for bride and groom.

Boy go to girl home with accompany of all families and friends for bringing of girls it happens in a day.

Boy has to pay all the expenditure of wedding ceremony and he has to pay dowry for girls parents…

Celebration

One sunny morning of Friday a lot of people came together in front of gymnasium in Bamyan city. All men and women were happy and carry flowers and other gifts to present Bamyan university students that graduated.

Some minutes after police opened the gate of gymnasium and people crashed towards it. And police could not control people all of them got in the yard.

For getting inside of gymnasium also people crashed and it was impossible to be all the people inside of gymnasium that create a big problem for all.

Education situation in Bamyan

Shibar is nearest district of Bamyan, in center of Shibar there is no high school, only one secondary school exist for girls and boys, lack of separate school for girls and lack of women teachers causes that girls are prevented from going to school.

Zarin Yakawlang also has not a building for boys high school, the people says they collected about 120000 AFN to prepare a place for school but department of education deceived people and waste money that collected from every students.

Because far way of school the children that are between 7-12 cannot go to school because they are not able to walk 2-5 hours a day.

Sialaiak High school exist in very cold weather that students cannot bear for studying, is also a problem for students how to stay there.

Shortage of professional teachers and books are the other problem. Poor services of education is also the main problem.

Amina is a women from Bamyan that want to bring change in Afghanistan, she wants get knowledge and trains her children with good behavior without killing and injuring idea, she wants to say adult women also can study if government prepare studying for women.

Amina is an adult woman that participated in pre university examination in this year and two days ago, she believe to herself that she can pass the pre university examination if there be transparency. She accept to bear all society opposition against her, and fight with all culture that have disadvantage for people.

She also shows for people once again that knowledge did not know years, sex everyone can learn knowledge, even adult women.

Amina likes to study in her likely college, like other young students that pass the pre university examination.

For what we judge Afghanistan, if we look adult women wants to study in university or those man who wear dress and do suicide attack…

If we compare Bamyan to the pass it is a big change.

Amina wants to say only orphan people are not alone and fight with all problems but adult women also wants to fight with all bad culture.

I want to successfulness for Amina and wish she should success to her lovely college.  

Election

Election is a democratic way for transition, there is no way to choose a leader as a president in peaceful way, the only way is election that we can do transition peacefully.

As we focus in Afghanistan situation in the past, we paid a lot of disadvantage for transition, killing, civil war, insecurity happened in the past because of none peaceful transition.

If do not attention to transparency, justice, freedom of election, it will create crisis.

Trip

The weather was cold and clean the sun was behind the mountain, the puddle was frozen, the sound of foot was so loud and there was so calm. I was ready for going to Kamati the village that are far and cold and it has bad road. I walk in the street there is no one just one person that damaged his car and he was waiting for another person to come and repair his car.

I put my hand in my packet and put out my phone and call to driver. Asked him when he came. He said I am coming. I continue my ways and reach in big home. I stopped my walking and stay for coming of car.

When I go in the car, the driver said I forgot the chain and went back for bringing of it.

The car going like other ordinary days, when we reach Kamati, the sun shining was in the top of the mountain opposite of us. There was also calm, the water flows normally with a special sound, the earth was frozen. There was no one, we stop the car.

We went to homes for finding a person.

Violence against women

Afghanistan is a traditional country that pass three decades civil war and destroyed all infrastructure all the live under line of poverty, there is no job, the only that is so much it is violence in all sides even in saying, doing, behavior…

The only thing that is sacrificed they are women who are face to various of violence in homes, out of homes, in society, in work, at study… from difference people, men, violence of women against women…

When a baby born with female sex face to violence, her mother at the first time her mother says about unfortunate of herself for delivering a daughter, this violence continue up to death, it is the biggest and main violence against women that begin violence against women.

Unfortunately some few days ago, a pregnant women, cut her stomach for putting of her baby because of her husband families, and far way of clinic. Now she is in Bamyan hospital, she getting healthy and her baby is also healthy.

Tuesday

A sunny day that everything was ordinary, sun up and wind blowing, every one go for work, student go to schools and university. I also with tiredness go for work, I have a bag that is for my computer that every day I transfer with myself.

My friend that has yellow coat announce Bazar, Bazar… I look that he has white car. I look around myself, that there is no one to go to Bazar, I wait for some minutes, after that I get in the car, I close the door of white car, and put my bag on my leg, then another person get in the car.

Driver moves for Bazar destination that is 13 km far and tarmacked by Japan country, after 15 minutes we reached in Alikain Square that every day I get out from the car, this Tuesday also get out the car like other days.

All the things are simple like every days. The persons that sell fruit and vegetable are on previous places.

I continue my way towards office for walking about 30 minutes, I thing walking is good for my health, walking is also like the previous Tuesday that was cloudy but the difference is that today there is no cloud in the sky but the weather is also cold.

I am breathing faster and faster when I reach near of Baba Mazaari statue which is in another square, I breathe deeply and look there is more wind blowing. I look to my watch that is 8:15 am I continue to walking.

Cloudy

I get out from my home I saw everywhere is dark and both snow and rain are falling everywhere is cloud and the weather is so cold it is the second month of fall, I get in car the stove is on I get warm when I get out the car there is also cloudy and cold the wind is blowing there is no sun shining, I go toward office but in the first of my way there is mountain, I go up slowly and slowly my breath is beating faster and faster, I go up the mountain and walk on the street that goes in the airport when I reach near of airport turn on the right side, I feel warm because of warm clothes. I enter the office there is also cold and we cannot bear in office because of coldness, we stand and go around for warming of our body, it continues up to 4:00 PM and goes for ten days.

Now after ten days when I get up and saw shining from the window and go out watch the clean weather and sun in the sky only, I get ready for going to office, face to a dumb man, we come without talking near to office, now I am in office and the sky is cloudy, the weather is cold. There is center of Bamyan, Afghanistan.

Ashura

Ashura is the sacrificing celebration for Imam Husain and his follower that are killed by Yazid army in the Karbalaa of Iraq country.

If we think why Husain sacrificed?

As we celebrate mourning session for injured body of Husain not for thoughts of Husain it is a big cruel and we cannot make ourselves by this ceremony. If we want to celebrate from real we just following the thoughts Husain. Husain did not accept corruption, bribery and cruel… for he sacrificed himself. The real follower should follow the idea of Husain and did do corruption, bribery and cruel if we want we celebrate Husain everywhere and every times. Do not bribing is celebrating from Husain and do not corruption is also the celebrating from Husain.

Husain sacrificed for a better society and justice, if do not pay attention on thoughts of Husain we just beat ourselves and hit ourselves and band the roads, abuse sick and neighbor by high sound we are not Husain followers we are the enemy of him.

Adversary

Adversary is in any culture and nations, each nation hold death ceremony at different ways and different places, but some death ceremony goes out of nation and out of moment it holds in more nations and more than one times. One of them is Ashura that is belong to sheia sect and other sects and religions hold ceremony about Ashura.
Ashura happened about 14 hundred years ago in Karbalaa in Iraq country it is continues up to now in all around the world with different ways some people talk about the reason of Imam Husain revolution and thoughts of Imam Husain but some of people beat themselves and hit them. Some people do welfare actions and help poor people and distribute food for hungry people.
The narration of Karbalaa is different some of them are lie and some of them are not true. For all Sheia Imam Husain is respectful and trusted man.
In Afghanistan also there are hard liner that band roads and hit themselves with blades. Hitting themselves is taboo and opposite of Islam.
Some people get political benefiting and encourage people for hard lining.
In the result we can say Afghan people do not take positive result and they just focus on emotional aspect not thoughts and idea of Imam Husain.
Mullahs just take economic beneficiaries, they do not focus on real happening of Karbalaa, they think how they can earn money.
 

Kabul

 

Kabul is the capital of Afghanistan and it has five million people with pollution weather in the world. With a confuse sound from each shop and hotel, everywhere you can see garbage no one pay attention to it. On the road is traffic and bumpy.

I studied at Kabul University for four years and I have good and bad adventure from this city. I bear very hard situation during study.

 

Eid Traditions

This Eid that has religious value I was so busy at potato collecting in Fuladi valley of center of Bamyan province, I could not meet my relatives and friends and enjoy from Eid traditions.

In this Eid that its name is Eid Qurban, religious tradition is very important for people, people one night before Eid come together at cemetery and bring special food like Chalpak… all of people share its food to other and every one eat other food then they pray and go to parents grave for private pray, this night called Shab-e-Eid Zenda ( Night Eid for Life).

Night of Eid people all come together in cemetery and bring special local food and eat together then pray and go to died relatives grave for private praying and pouring of food on gravestone this night call Shab-e- Eid Murda (Night Eid for Death)

On the day of Eid people pray and then come on cemetery there also eat special local food and pray. Those persons who lost a relative they stand and other people come to greet and handshake of them. Again pray repeated and every person leave the cemetery and go home for other traditions like sacrificing sheep…

This tradition is only for men not women, the women have different tradition. They distribute food in at two evening of Eid that mentioned to above. On day of Eid they also go to cemetery separately for praying and pouring food to died relative gravestones. They go homes of each other specially those homes that lost a family member.

Other tradition that is not belong to religion is decreasing, like shooting by gun, running, dancing, Buzkashi, playing football and volleyball, and other local amusement…  

Sacrificed Eid

Ibahim Khalil lived thousands of years ago, he was also a prophet in Arabic countries. He was famous with his talking with Allah, and he is also famous by the name of Khalilullah and Khalilullah means friend of God.

He had a son by name of Ismail, his son also was prophet. Khalil saw an nightmare that meet God and say him you sacrifice his son Ismail, in the Maka (the place of worshiping place for Muslim now), his nightmare repeated several times, that Ibrahim believes, on the soon day he wanted to sacrifice his son in the Maka but he could not, the knife did not cut Ismail ` neck, cutting of Ismail` neck several times repeated by Ibrahim the father of Ismail, but could not cut the neck of Ismail. And Allah sent the sheep from paradise and said to Ibrahim your sacrificed accepted and you sacrifice the sheep replace of Ismail.

This day celebrated in Islamic places. They go to Maka for worshiping and sacrificing sheep tomorrow is Sacrificed day.

Potato

Water is flowing from every valley, mountains of Bamyan. There are many spans and water resources and natural pool in the mountains and in a far way of mountains, along distance of livelihood like Band-e-Ameer and other pools in the mountains of Baba that is located in Fuladi valleys to a far distance among snowy mountains even in summer. Bamyan is a cold city that deserves snow for four seasons and all of them cause flowing of water in Bamyan.

Much and flowing of water, coldness, soil, weather… grow a unique potato in the world with a delicious taste, cheap cost about 40 cent of USD every 1 Kg potato…

Potato also collect in the second month of fall season while the weather is getting cold, there is danger for frozen of potato, the only crop of farmer for four season and only outcome of money to fulfill expenditure of the family.

Every year collected potato froze because bad marketing and lack of potato deserving place

Potato just sends to big cities like Kabul, Mazar, Kundoz…there is no company to make chips in Bamyan, for finding market inside of Bamyan and create jobs for people that is the main problem of Afghan.

Destruction of roads is the other problem of marketing because every 7 Kg have 20 cent USD it decrease potato cost and potato market.

I punish myself not other

I live hard and difficult, saw killing, injuring, destroying, robbing, injustice, corruption, discrimination, smuggling, puppy cultivation…

I just bear all the things, I did not do the same things, I just punished myself and I had to punished myself, because I saw killing of my relatives the close relatives, I saw my father killed by bullet in front of my eyes, I saw my mother died without food and weakness, she died only in a home that there were no one, all of us escaped because of war and brutal, all of us fled that we did not want to killing of our selves but my mother could not to flee. I always think my mother wanted to kill, no, it is not a good thought, my mother did not want but she could not, thinking of this case is so difficult for me without tearing I cannot get another result. But how my mother did not want to escape and be ready for dying, no it is not true she could not, she was old, weak and she died from lack of food, she died lonely…

I saw killing of children, boys, girls, men, women, and youth, old…

I did not want to be like killer, war lover, robber, destroyer…

I see all of them, all of people who are criminal, those who killed human, destroyed homes of poor people, they are in power, They are at TV that speak about justice, human rights, rule of law…

I am confuse from all, I gone judging, I do not want to be like who killed people, destroyed… and I do not want to be with them…I separated my way, I want to be only, I want to remove myself by drug I am edict, I just punish myself not other, not men, women, not young and old, not girls and boys, not children. But the difference between me and them are, I am bad people, edict no one like me… they are hero; all people like them, all people respect them…

Bamyan and Media

Bamyan is a mountainous province that are not access people to national media and international media, the only of access to TV is using from Satellite that is out of ability of Bamyan poor people. Majority of Bamyan people listen to BBC radio and Azadi, it is accessible for them.

Tulo TV, 1TV… that is famous in Afghanistan have not correspondent in Bamyan and it is not accessible in Bamyan without Satellite.

National TV, Rah-e-Farda TV, Nigah TV, Tamaddun TV are just accessible in close center of Bamyan for villages center of Bamyan have access to these TVs.

Bamyan has 2 local radio stations by the name of Radio Bamyan and Radio Paiwand and they also broadcast in center of Bamyan in the nearer villages.

District people do not access to internal TVs without Satellite and local and inside radios.

There are no daily, weekly and monthly magazines to broadcast series, there are some of them but have breaking activating and project base.

Bilateral Security Agreement

Hanif Atmar the representative of Afghanistan and Ambassador of USA signed the the Bilateral Security Agreement between of Afghanistan and United States of America. This Agreement allows foreigner forces to be in Afghanistan for helping and training of Afghanistan forces after 2014.

Mr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmad Zai the new president of Afghanistan said this Agreement is for benefiting of Afghanistan and all of this agreement checked letter by letter and parliament members are agree for signing of this Agreement.

Dr. Abdullah Abdullah the Chief Executive of Afghanistan spoke that signing of this Agreement is request of our people.Bilateral Security Agreement

The Ambassador of United States said this Agreement improve helping of SUA for Afghanistan.

The NATO representative also emphasized about helping of Afghanistan.

New government

New government formed in Afghanistan that majority of people is jobless and shout from poverty.

The new president also promised people to pull out people from these condition and Mr. president is famous with his economic knowledge in the world and he worked in World Bank and taught at American university.

He also worked as chief of Kabul University and chief of changing ensuring peace from foreign forces to Afghan forces. He also worked as a minister of finance in Karzai presidency era.

Now with all experiences and working in out and inter of Afghanistan what he does for Afghan people, he can ensure peace in Afghanistan? He can create jobs for Afghan? He can make a clear politic with foreign contries?....

All these questions are asked people and it is very soon to respond these questions after months we will know or find answer for questions

The first request of the people are ensuring peace and finding jobs…

Mr. President will sign the security treaty between Afghanistan and United States of America in second of his job.

First transition in Afghanistan

It is the first time for Afghanistan to transfer power peacefully one president to another president.

Today is a big change the history of Afghanistan of because Hamid Karzai was the 13 years as a president of Afghanistan and he elected two times as president, now he want to transfer his power to the next president of Afghanistan who is elected in noisiness election.

And Hamid Karzai the most president of Afghanistan at the last speech at TV said I will cooperate the next president…

Ashraf Ghani the first historical as a president of Afghanistan said he remove bribery and corruption and he also emphasized the person who give or take both of them are criminal.

Mr. President request from representatives of parliament that meet ministers privately and he added they must not interfere during process of employment in securities organs, he said we should proud to National army and police and he said we should help those people who injured disabled for defense of our country of those family belong to sacrificed national army or police…

He said corruption exists in our court and he emphasized for removing of them. He also said in detective organs also exists corruption and he said removing of them need a powerful moral.

After this time there is second or third grade citizens in our country and he said all of them are first grade citizens.

Mr. President also pointed on economy and he said extracting of mines are the way and he said Afghanistan is the transition way.

Mr. Ghani mentioned presidency needs presidency organs because he made executive director….

Bamyan coldness

Bamyan is the coldest place, in fall season Bamyan is getting cold, in winter Bamyan is snowy, transferring from village to other villages or from district to other districts is not easy. Natural disaster also creates crisis like snow moving and closing ways…

Past years in the fall seasons government and NGOs got ready for winter and bring wheat, fuels, clothes… for helping people…

This season all government and NGOs are busy with Presidency election, no one pay attention to coldness and natural disaster in Bamyan, if no one do not pay attention to winter coldness we will face with crisis in cold winter and on the time of coldness that happen crisis we cannot prevent crisis and help people because there are no transferring ways to all villages of Bamyan in winter…

President swear oath

Afghanistan presidency election continued about six month that causes a lot of disadvantages for people and NGOs all the people of Afghanistan got boring from this election and election also causes insecurity for Afghanistan.

All international observers came in Afghanistan to observe counting process of vote papers after more one month they finished the observing but Dr. Abdullah Abdullah the candidate of presidency did not accept the result of election.

Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmad Zai another presidency candidate accepted to make a pervasive government, they also accepted that Dr. Ghani is president and Dr. Abdullah is the executive director.

After this accepting the Afghanistan Independent Election Commission gives the document that confirmed Dr. Ghani is the winner of presidency election and he got over 55% of votes.

On 29 September 2014 Ghani will swear presidency oath and I hope this pervasive government should bring a positive change in Afghanistan and remove discrimination and corruption and ensure peace in Afghanistan.

The two candidates also promised to bring such changes but it is difficult and people do not believe and people heard a lot slogan during past Campaign.   

Girls constructed watercourse

Jula is a valley in Shibar district of Bamyan province there is watercourse that is build by girls it has also a story among people, people say in the long past boys and girls had a competition, the competition was making of watercourse through a mountain. During the competition girls deceive boys and one of them waking along the mountain and other of them working very hard, while boys saw the girl walking along the mountain they did not working just watch the girl, because this deceiving girl build the watercourse through mountain and boys could not.

Girl until death but not access to study

With so much helping of world for Afghanistan girls have not access to school, just it is a hope for girls existence of school and study… but they cannot, in the two last two weeks I saw many girls that they cannot access to school in the save province of Afghanistan which there is no war.

At Shibar district of Bamyan province that is located 32 km fat from the center of Bamyan there is no girls school and there is no women teachers, lack of girls school and women teachers and bad tradition causes preventing of girls from going to schools, just those girls who are in primary school they can go to school not in secondary and high school, even those girls who are in the age of secondary and high school they hope to study in literacy courses but they have not access to literacy courses.

Book`s Week

The end of Sour month is called Book`s Week by Information and Cultural ministry because in Bamyan province held an exhibition of book at this week.

In this exhibition also participated Information and Cultural department, Lincoln Center, Afghanistan Human Rights Independent Commission, Civil Society Network Organization and hazrat Qayem libraries.

I went at 9:00 am in to Cultural Heritage the place of exhibition. I saw some people to walk around the limit books on the table that majority of them were monthly and other publish of their organization.

The main purpose of them were not looking book for study, it looks like luxury people came together for saying jokes and taking photos and laughing a loud.

I thought we are so unfortunate because lack of standard library in Bamyan and not interest of people for studying books.

In Bamyan citizens, civil actives and officials came together to share themselves to Badakhshan victims mourning that they are disappeared in the earth of mountain in Urgo Badakhshan.

Meeting with students

Deputy of Bamyan governor met students in student lane.

The vice governor asked about problems of students. The students said we have a big problem with room and atmosphere.

The vice governor promised to prepare the dormitory about one week besides of that he will prepare another house for students as a hostel.

We come here to say that we are so sorry about girls kidnaping in Nigeria and show Islam is not against education and girls. Nigerian families we realize your situation, we are Sympathy you and you are not only.

Bamyan Natural Disaster

Bamyan located in the center of Afghanistan it is also mountainous province like Badakhshan.

In Surkhjoy, Fuladi valley, center of Bamyan province a high mountain got gaps to come on the village of Surkhjoy because of last night the residence take out from their homes.

If the mountain comes down it has much disadvantage for all people of Bamyan center because it is higher than other places, all the water that comes from Baba Mountains divided from here for irrigation in the neighborhood farms that million hectares will bad effected from this natural disaster.

Badakhshan is a mountainous province in northeast of Afghanistan, in the neibourhood of Tajikistan and China. Urgo is a district in Badakhshan province but some days ago there mountain moved through a village and killed more 2000 thousand people and covered a village completely With homes, farms, animals….

Up to government cannot take out the people under the mountain and governor of Badakhshan said the prayer for those people who are in the mountain but this action has a lot of criticize.

International organization, national organization and citizens of Afghanistan helped survivors, unfortunately survivors are also hungry and without shelter.

Afghanistan Presidency Provincial Council

This election was so good the majority of people participated and the security was also good. But the voting papers were not enough. But the result is unknown till 14 may 2014.

Now all the candidates claim that he or she is the winner. In social networks and media it is a hot issue.

Election

Election is a new word in Afghanistan. It just came about 10 years ago for people to choose their president, parliamentarians, representative of Assembly…

Illiteracy, poverty, discrimination… is the reason that people cannot make a true decision for choosing a good president for bright, peaceful, powerful… Afghanistan.

Now Afghanistan is in third election. Racial discrimination is also a big problem. The big tribe should be the next president because of all the presidency candidates are from one race.
