Bamyan is a traditional and
undeveloped province that people live here traditionally and main power is on
hand of men and women just belong insides of home and facilitate work for men
from inside of homes like, cooking, washing, born…
Now society is changing with
the help of world and NATO that came in Afghanistan after 2001 and defeated in
Taliban the radicalism group of Islam.
Now girls do basic sport and
some limit of girls ride bicycle and it is only in city of Bamyan not in suburb.
There is some few training of
cycling for girls that girls go and learn how to ride bicycle for going to
school, university, and shopping or job place.
Some competition of cycling for
girls from national and interactional and governmental organizations that also denounced
from religious men and they call opposite of Islam.
Some girls believe that girls
are able to ride bicycle and can the tasks that men can do but it is not easy. Now
in Bamyan road harassment increased and it is difficult for a girl to ride
bicycle in environment that there are men and for women is difficult to
presence.
Some national and international
competitions of sport like skiing, running, cycling conducted in Bamyan and
Bamyan girls got the high positions.
Girls are breaking traditional
customs in Bamyan and activate besides of men in all parts.
