Valentine Day

Valentine is a lovely day and those countries celebrate from it that love is not crime and women and men can show obviously their love to each other and boy and girl can suggest love to each other obviously and give lovely gift to each other on valentine day.

According to traditional culture of Afghanistan people showing love is taboo that no one can show love to his/her lover and beloved and boys and girls marry without desire of themselves and just their parents force to marry and boy and girls cannot say anything.

Some people ask from boy about his marry with a girl, asking from a girls is not common among people for marry and according to concept of people girls have not right to get decision about marry and getting of girl idea about marry is also taboo among traditional people and the girl is good who accept all decision of their family.

And now slowly the culture is changing and we can find a few couple that they had lovely relationship before marriage and for love and their decision they love and stand for all opposition of their families.

Muhammad and Zakia are the lovely couple in Bamyan and they got marriage very difficult and faced with disagreement of whole families and they accept all danger and problems and do not forget each other even they accepted prison for several times, treat to death, escaping form Bamyan and going to mountain to hide from eyes of their families because Zakia is Tajik and Muhammad Ali is Hazara and Hazara with Tajik is taboo to marry in traditional culture but the two lovely couple broke it.

In culture of Afghanistan calling of women is taboo and women call for mother of boys or sisters of boys or daughter of men if you name women in a public session it is forgiveness action that you have done and you insult the woman and her families.

This culture cause that women cannot choose their future lives and partner of their lives and they just accept and experience violence in Afghanistan and finding of telephone number of strange man from a girl`s mobile in Faryab province of Afghanistan cause to get public slash the girl by religious men.

I just hope the culture of Afghanistan should change and everyone have their rights and no one can contravene the rights of deprived people and men and women should have the sane legal rights.
