Athletics of Afghanistan got
the 7 gold medals in south countries of Asia competition and got 4th
position after India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka countries.
Among the athletics of
Afghanistan who got the gold medals are Ruhollah Nekpa who bring the first
medal for Afghanistan in world competition and a girl who is the first girl to
bring gold medal for Afghanistan in taekwondo field.
Afghanistan freed from war
about 14 year to find opportunity to do sport and for short time bring proud
for Afghanistan and defeat the countries which have hundreds or more than and
less experience to sports.
Successful in sport show the
abilities of people of Afghanistan and hardworking of the deprived people of Afghanistan
and show all the world that Afghanistan is not famous only with war and can
bring proud with sport and other humanity works.
Women of Afghanistan had not
rights to go out of homes in Taliban area in before 2001 and now during 14 recent
year they got development and create proud in many parts and bring gold medal
from south Asia countries competition.
Sport is also another hope for
people of Afghanistan to make unity people of Afghanistan and make famous Afghanistan
with positive names for international community and create hope for people of Afghanistan.
The only thing that can make
unity people of Afghanistan and destroy the borders of various discrimination
is sport and it was experienced in successful of athletics in the recent year
that all people from different tribes, languages, sects and provinces support
from sport.
