Bamyan is a traditional
province of Afghanistan and people traditionally fulfill their expenditure of their
family with agriculture and animal husbandry besides of them women are busy
with traditional handicrafts.
Women are busy with handicrafts
and provide the clothes from productions of animal like sheep and goat and
shave the hair of them and make like tie and they provide as coat, pant, hat,
grave, sock, carpet…
Now all of them replaced to
production of Pakistan, china… industries with low quality. Now people cannot
provide handicraft like past times because it is expensive and there is no
market for handicrafts.
Women are jobless cannot
provide handicrafts as they want and they want from government to find worldly
market for them and some exhibitions are not enough for their products in Afghanistan.
If government attention to handicraft and micro economy it can provide
thousands of job opportunities for women and even men.
Bamyan selected an initiative
city by UNESCO in December 2015 and nominated in January 2015, Bamyan selected
as initiative city about handicrafts and native arts.
All people hope that selecting
of Bamyan as initiative province create opportunity that handicrafts of Bamyan introduce
to world and create job opportunities for women and help economy of Afghanistan.
